I left my phone in Quebec City.

However, a VERY VERY kind lady picked it up and is sending it back to me. This was so amazing in 5 ways.

1. My phone had run out of battery, so I'd thought that I couldn't just call my number to contact the person who found it. However, this lady actually brought it back and charged it for me so they got her when my parents called, and gave them her house number for me to contact her.

2. She lives in Quebec City. I live in Montreal. Difficult for me to just go over and collect the phone from her.

3. So I asked her if she could send it over by post, offering to send her a cheque for the costs. But she instead called Fido up to ask if they could send it to me instead.

4. Fido agreed. At no charge. (At least I think that's what "sans frais" means.)

5. She's going down to Fido tomorrow to pass the phone to them, and I should get it by this week. So basically I was the one who lost the phone, but all I had to do to get it back was make a call and wait for it to be delivered to me!

This is why I love the Quebecois.
