I bottomed my class and fell on my bottom! Both were firsts and hence amused me to no end despite their sounding negative. Overall I got a B average but a GPA that sounds quite crap, though I actually wouldn't really know how GPAs work.
J'ai décidé de continuer mon cours français. Ma professeur n’est pas très supportif, mais tous mes amis m’encouragent. Je vais obtenir les grades très mal, mais ça ne m’importe pas! J'aime la français. I'm also taking Private International Law (with the esteemed HP Glenn), Law of Persons (Civil Law subject), and Law of Space Applications (I know, I know, totally useless, but it makes my schedule lovely, so there).
Winter is finally here. I know I said 2 weeks ago that winter was finally here but then it stopped snowing and went above 0 again and started melting again. Shamus' snow apple has officially evaporated, which is sad. I didn't even get to take a picture of it sitting outside my building, because I assumed it would stay there through winter! But now the temperatures are finally dipping and the snow is finally piling and I finally had my first fall on the icy ground (unless you count the time Sharad tackled me during the first snow, but I shan't)!
The weather screwed up my throat though. I have been weezing and throwing up multi-coloured phlegm for the past week. Not a pretty sight. It also doubles the time I require to get from home to school, which means waking up earlier which means less sleep which means cranky me.
Last Saturday I met up with the other NUS exchange students, and then the other law exchange students. Committed a fatal social faux pas when I left the pub early to go to Eri's house party and forgot to pay - both for myself, and for WJ who had passed me money to pay for him when he left. Utterly embarrassed, emailed them to find out if anyone paid for us, but no one has replied. I think nobody did, and I am officially banned from the pub. Hmm, I had actually planned to begin my life as an outlaw in February, but I guess I could check that off the to-do list, huh. (And Hannah's response to my embarrassment was "don't be daft", so I guess I could check off having that expression used on myself off that same list too.)
The party was also pretty fun, sans the last part on which I shall not elaborate on such a public forum. However, I am now missing a brown striped H&M sweater, and am swearing off whiskey.
Cuba and Quebec plans have hit a serious rut, in large part due to the fact that I haven't done any planning at all. French tests are causing a major block out on many of the dates, which isn't helping either.
