I'm starting to get pretty paranoid about the apartment thing. The 2 girls haven't replied to my email in 3 days. They probably found someone else! Ah! Die la! Ok deep breaths.

Ok on a separate note, many of you don't know that I joined this church ministry at the start of this year. It's called Pastoral Care for the Sick Ministry, and what we do is visit the housebound in our parish and sort of befriend them and keep them company. It actually started out as Pastoral Care for the Terminally Ill but then we decided it was too morbid and people weren't coming forward to ask for help and also we had the capacity to take on a few more homes so we expanded our scope. We're divided into 2 groups - English-speaking and dialect-speaking - and obviously I'm in the former and my group visits 8 patients once a week, 3 of whom have cancer, 1 who has Parkinson's and the rest who are just wheelchair bound or bedridden due to old age or accidents. Last Sunday, we had our first gathering and it was actually really fun! They're a great bunch of people and fortunately on similar wavelengths too.
