my life in a box
Saturday, May 13, 2006

So on Saturday I met up with the chingchongs. Timbre was closed for a private function (we later found out it was an Indian wedding) so we went to Curry Favor at Stamford House instead. As usual, Esther, Kailing and I were the only few who made it on time.

And then the rest came, YW and El after ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES.
Me: Why do we even bother to come on time?
Esther: Cos we want free dessert.

Afterwards, Esther left and we went there, there and there. My car almost ran out of petrol and we ran out of things to do, so we sat in the car and listened to the votes get counted.

On my way home I realised that the losing party's posters had already been removed from the lamp posts around my area. How efficient.

And throughout this week I met up with many people I haven't seen in a while, like FuQi (who is coolly leaving her boyfriend behind for Finland) and WangFei (who still has bad taste and bought the Minnie Mouse hairband after we left her, I told you so) and Thiang (dressing down again but clever enough to figure out what I got him for his very belated birthday due to suspicious behaviour from my helpers, but thanks anyway for your help!) and Matt (sweet enough to pick me up from home and drive me to Siglap for lunch, if I'm spoilt and bratty it is largely his fault) but somehow I kept forgetting to bring my camera.

But I did have it with me when I went out with this cock (dinner at Chutney's which is an Indian eatery inside Food Republic, please support it, the food is fantastic and dirt cheap, please don't let it close down, please please).

And I had it with me when I relaxed the day away with this bunch, playing ultimate frisbee (badly) and dipping in the sea (but not getting a tan cos the sun went away). This is a particularly precious picture because Amos walked across the beach to get this big-boobed babe to take the photo for us.
