So what's new this year? In the spirit of sacrifice (Christmas) and change (New Year), I've been playing meet-the-parents and then meet-the-soccer-friends and then meet-the-church and then meet-the-ah-mah, finding myself perpetually tightly-strung and in PR mode, spurred on only by promises of eternal indebtedness and relishing little moments of respite where I get to spend time* with my family and friends.

* where spending time = getting called a fatty by my brother + piercing Evo's ears + contributing to a potluck for the first time + finally meeting up with Esther and Yishi + stuffing face with Jap buffet tomorrow (wearing pregnant top so don't look ridiculous for MoS later)
