So I guess I've hit the big 20. Unlike most of my friends who find it no different from being 19, I think I can safely say that I do feel as if I'm starting a brand new chapter of my life, and even more so, that I've wrapped up that first chapter. Last year has been a really crazy one for me, and thankfully also one of great personal and spiritual growth. Learnt that there are some things in life worth waiting for, and yet others that I need to learn to let go. Learnt patience. Learnt how to trust my intuition, and to trust in God's will for me. Learnt that I do not actually know everything, but that I could always ask. Learnt that sometimes there's no right or wrong. Learnt to be grateful for what I have. I guess I do feel a little old now, like some jaded war veteran. But at the end of the day, I think I'm still glad for it.
