Relationships are such tricky things- what happens when it starts to wane? Do you fight to keep it alive? Or just let nature take its course?

Perhaps the mark of a strong friendship is one where you could really piss each other off or bicker every time you meet but still stay close years later. (Haha, I still remember fighting with Jane almost everyday when we sat together in 411.) Perhaps it takes a balance of both approaches- while it takes constant effort to maintain a relationship (especially with those you rarely get to meet), we needn't always try to force ourselves to be as close as we can be to everyone we befriend; just let nature take its course.

After all, every relationship is a gift and a blessing, and not a commodity to be attained.
