Am typing this from the office so you can imagine how bored I am. Suddenly extremely free as RK (a.k.a. the Hong Kong lawyer) is on leave this entire week. Saw the company doctor this morning for my chronic cough and inflamed throat. Waited bloody long for my turn and felt very impatient and raring to unleash my womanly fury on the doctor but he turned out to be unbearably cute. Not in the way Utt of Keanu Reeves are cute, but extremely funny and adorable. Was sufficiently neutered by his mock-dramatic “Why-have-you-been-suffering-in-silence-these-2-weeks?” so was suitably docile and mild-mannered. This, however, looks set to be the climax of my day, and I unwillingly return, once again, to this dreary life I call mine.
