To all concerned individuals, my ankle's healing. It's wrapped up "like a dumpling" as Miss Wang says, which makes it rather troublesome to walk now, but it doesn't hurt anymore. Itches though, can't wait to rip off the bandages tomorrow.

Also, I'm happy to announce that I'm no longer jobless! Yes, the job interview I went for today did work out in some way. I was denied the secretarial position on the grounds that I won't be around for long, but was instead offered a job attachment which "probably suits you [me] better". (And yes, it pays more than the previous offer from that Indian lawyer.) Additionally, my boss so liked me (I hope) that he asked me to tutor his son, so I would have a fairly reasonable amount of income when I start work, yet gain some good experience watching those lawyers do their thing, "and most importantly, still have a life", with my weekends free.
