First day of work, much to say but not much that will interest you guys. Files, files and more files. Learnt how to use a fax machine. Was persuaded not to be a lawyer by 3 lawyers. Secretaries actually rather nice. Court tomorrow.

7-11 class dinner last night. Pretty fun. Discovered yet another prom photo with my make-up botched in Yishi's album. And people wonder why I don't wear make-up to work. Lo Hei-ed like it was 2002. Rather missed that. Made plans for lunch with office girls. Received belated birthday present. Yes, one can never have too many earrings. Thanks, girls. I wore one pair to work today.

I've got a new pet, kind of. His name is Charlie and he is a Schlumbergera. That's a cousin in the cactus family I think. He's got waxy flat leaves with pricks on the rims and little purple flower buds.
