my life in a box

I had meant to blog about wakeboarding earlier, but couldn't because My Arms Fell Off. However, upon Jiax's recommendation I managed to procure myself some excellent prosthetics, and it's thanks to him that I am back here regaling you with my wit and insight. :)

So yes, I went wakeboarding. This is documentary evidence from Shu's camera phone.

Do not scoff at the low resolution. When I do get clearer photos from our cool instructors I shall post them up here. And I will stand here and laugh at all you naysayers, ha ha ha.

Yes, so I managed to do it. Had 3 nice runs before my arms fell off and I just couldn't continue since I couldn't hold on to the bar any longer. It was great fun while it lasted though! (Incidentally, all 3 of us, ShuEveMe, managed to earn the bragging rights of being able to wakeboard.)

And on Saturday I had a monstrosity of an apple-rhubard crumble at Corduroy & Finch. It was disgustingly delicious but also disgustingly huge. Good thing I had the rest of the TG on hand to help me wipe up the rest.

And I watched the RH musical, Philadoksia (I think that's how it's spelt), to show my support for the 2 musical directors, Jack and Guochuan. Due to my obvious biasedness, I shall refrain from making any comparisons with Kopi Shop Rock. However, despite my apparent biasedness, I maintain that I am being completely objective when I say the music was really good. I think the songs managed to capture the mood and atmosphere of the setting and were great foils for both the singing and the dance numbers. The songs also stuck with me after it was over, which is always a good thing.

Have I mentioned that the musical directors are MY friends?

Thanks for an enjoyable evening my friends, and thanks G, for the beer and the company (not necessarily in that order), and long live LC (even if you first rejected me, you sexist)!
