It deeply saddens me that after spending such a long time on earth, some people still don't know that all actions come with consequences. I really don't care if you're angry, upset or just plain bored, it doesn't give you a right to just do whatever you want with no regard for the people around you or take the things you have for granted. I guess that is why I don't really like kids very much in general - they tend to be like that right? Except for the few sensible angels, the rest are just plain terrors, who'd pretty much do everything for attention or for fun. I was a terrible kid myself, if memory doesn't fail me. The thing is, we forgive them and I guess they deserve to be forgiven because they're still young and they sometimes don't realise that what they're doing is wrong. But there comes a time where you're expected to be mature enough to understand the consequences of your actions and take responsibility for it. Thankfully, maturity does usually come with age. What I'm afraid of is that sometimes it doesn't, and there are some who remain as self-centred as ever.
[Argh, just a rant. Don't ask. And I'm not referring to anyone who reads my blog so don't worry if it's you or your friend.]
