So War of the Worlds was surprisingly, not bad. I know most, if not all, of my friends who watched it say it sucks, but really, just give it a chance and it could be pretty good entertainment.

Of course, the plot is basically this (if you haven't watched the movie yet, you might wanna stop reading here, MAJOR SPOILER ahead): Aliens Kill A Lot Of Humans.

Yes, that is all there is to the story, and the ending is way too abrupt, but the special effects are great and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to just switch off your brain and relax for 2 hours.
