Thanks to everyone who remembered my birthday. I discovered something even nicer than birthday cards - long-distance calls bearing birthday greetings! Birthday karaoke songs and presents delivered right to my doorstep and almost-surprise parties and midnight smses are great too, of course. (I think I'll require the future spouse to do all 4.) Thanks guys :)

Anyway I have been pretty much floating on cloud nine since the dastardly presentation ended yesterday, but 1 hr ago I was slammed with the realisation that the bloody SLS is next wk and the bloody Torts is this mth and the bloody Bloody BLOODY Contract is less than a mth away. So I came back to my room and finished a stick of Toblerone.

If I actually believed in reincarnation I'd swear I was a tortoise in my previous life.
