Went blog-surfing and confirmed that my fellow faculty members hate the faculty. How inspiring. Well they do have good (and rather brilliantly-argued, I might add) points, and on reading their comments I find myself agreeing with practically everything they say, yet I still can't bring myself to hate Law school. Maybe because I don't see any point in doing so, or maybe it's the residual excitement and happiness that I'm finally studying something that I'm actually interested in. Certain rather unsavoury characters not withstanding, I do find most of the people I encounter fairly bearable, if not nice. And though the lecturers always throw up more questions than answers, most of them are at least fairly entertaining. Someone once told me, "See, the difference between you and me is that you have nothing to be unhappy about, and I have nothing to be happy about." Good, I intend to keep it that way.
