Esther's birthday celebration was great, in part because of the setting; buffets are always good, and the personal-assistant-waiter who spoke English like Pierre Png spoke Mandarin provided much entertainment. On my way home I was suddenly reminded of the time the same group of us (with the exception of Wanyuan, who's been replaced by Minghui this time) came in Sec 2 and tried to convince them we were twelve. Started reminiscing and found myself thinking that it was really nice how some of the friendships we formed in RGS have lasted through the passing of the years and the splitting into different classes and schools, and this gave me hope that these friendships may survive the years to come.
